UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a HS Clinical Instructor or Assistant, Associate, or Full rank Professor in the HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series. We are particularly interested in neurosurgeon candidates with academic research interests, either basic or translational in focus. This is a full-time UCSF Neurosurgery Position with clinical duties at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs (SFVA) hospital and UCSF Medical Center (Parnassus) campus. Responsibilities include clinical service, research, and teaching residents and medical students. Candidate must possess an MD, MD/PhD, or an equivalent degree.Applicants must apply with a curriculum vitae, cover letter, statement of research, statement of teaching, and three reference contacts.For positions that are 50% effort or more:The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 (). The minimum base salary range for this position is $134,500 - $405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan () which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.For positions that are less than 50% effort:See Table 2 () for the salary range for this position.
