Description The Hotel Room Inspector ensures guest rooms meet strict cleanliness, maintenance, and brand standards after housekeeping cleaning. Key duties include inspecting for dust, hair, sanitation, and odor, verifying amenities, reporting maintenance issues to engineering, and releasing rooms to the front desk. This role requires attention to detail, training housekeeping staff, and maintaining high guest satisfaction. ResponsibilitiesInspecting Cleanliness: Meticulously check guest rooms, including under beds, in bathrooms, and dust all furniture. Quality Control: Verify that linens, towels, and amenities are fresh, clean, and properly stocked according to brand standards. Maintenance Reporting: Identify maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, lighting, HVAC) and report them to engineering. Housekeeping Coordination: Train, coach, and supervise room attendants, ensuring they meet daily room quotas and quality standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, including OSHA and MSDS standards. Guest Service: Respond to guest requests and complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
