Required Skills: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New YorkProven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or orthopedic surgeryStrong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testingAbility to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessmentsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a clinical settingNice to Have Skills: Prior experience with veteran health assessments or government contractsFamiliarity with medical documentation and report submissionBackground in compensation and pension evaluationsExperience working with diverse patient populationsPreferred Education and Experience: Master s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in general or internal medicinePrevious experience performing Compensation & Pension exams is advantageousOther Requirements: Own office location with the ability to accommodate exams in Ithaca, NY (1 day/week) and Trumansburg, NY (3 days/week)Willingness to work on a PRN basis with flexible hours, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shiftsLocal candidates only; travel expenses are included in the ratesThe role involves administrative follow-up work such as report addendums and documentation, compensated within the flat ratesSuccessful completion of required training and exams will qualify for a one-time bonus of $650We are offering a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $402.00, with additional benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses where applicable.
