Material Handler - Manufacturing

Seeking a reliable Material Handler to support machining and fabrication operations for our Waterbury client. $ 20 hr - 7am - 3:30pm - Temp-to-Hire This role focuses on staging materials, moving product through production, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments. Key Responsibilities • Pick, stage, and move materials based on production schedules • Inspect materials using measurement tools • Complete basic job paperwork and record usage • Perform cycle counts and organize inventory • Assist with basic machining prep (saws, sanders) • Transport materials throughout facility • Follow safety procedures and support production areas Qualifications • Manufacturing or machining experience preferred • Basic computer and math skills • Ability to read manufacturing documentation • Experience with measurement tools (e.g., micrometers) • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Forklift certification a strong plus Location - Waterbury, CT Hours - 7am - 3:30pm Temp-to-Hire Opportunity!
