The Receiver I is responsible for putting away product in the appropriate pick locations throughout the warehouse, along with focusing on learning the receiving process through laying out product, matching with packing slips, and entering appropriately into computer systems. Starting pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Put items away in appropriate pick locations using RF Scanner • Unbox and layout items and ensure all product matches packing slip • Report product damage & discrepancies when necessary • Learn computer programs used to receive product • Label various items as they are received • Assist other Receivers with large orders • Assist in unloading of trucks and other deliveries Other Duties: • Restock primary pick locations throughout the warehouse with emphasis on larger items/skids • Properly communicate issues to Receiving Coordinator • Take out trash & compress cardboard in bailer on weekly basis • General Housekeeping duties as assigned • Performs other duties and special projects determined by Management Requirements: • Minimum 1+ years experience in warehouse setting • Ability to use RF Scanning devices and computers for general warehouse functions • Strong computer skills with ability to learn Microsoft Office applications & Receiving Systems • Strong teamwork & communication skills • Detail oriented with strong ability to prioritize various tasks Benefits: Medical eligible 1st of the month after date of hire Dental eligible 1st of the month after date of hire Vision eligible 1st of the month after date of hire 401K Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Paid Sick Life Insurance and AD&D Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance Employee Discount
