Maintenance Technician I

Maintenance Technician Shoot Smart is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operation and upkeep of our indoor shooting range facilities. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance, responding to work orders, and assisting with preventative maintenance across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general facility maintenance across all Shoot Smart locations, including gun ranges and retail areas. Diagnose, repair, and replace equipment and facility components as needed. Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Respond to maintenance tickets and prioritize work based on urgency and operational impact. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner. Communicate clearly with management regarding issues, progress, and completed work. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations. Assist with upkeep of facilities: Computer systems and networks. HVAC systems. Range systems and mechanical equipment. Plumbing. Landscaping. Brass reclamation. Lead reclamation. Complete work orders in CMMS system. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with work order or ticketing systems (e.g., UpKeep or similar). Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is a plus. Comfortable using computers and basic software for reporting and communication. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Ability to safely use common tools such as hammers, drills, saws, wrenches, and hoists Schedule & Availability Average of 20 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and occasional overnight shifts as needed.
