Job Description

Nurse Practitioner Full-time: 36-40 hrs/week (Weekend Rotation Required) Specialty: Urgent Care Summary: Seeking a Advance Practice Registered Nurse to join an Urgent Care Team. Our client is recognised for over 20 years of service in the community, excellence in customer service, quality of care, and community involvement-serving the general public as well as local law enforcement, fire rescue, municipal employees, and school board staff. Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat urgent care patients (approx. 20-30 patients/day, weekends 10-15) Manage common urgent care conditions including: Cold, flu, and minor illnesses Laceration repair (suturing/stapling) Simple fracture care Foreign body removal Acute hypertension and abnormal blood sugar cases Women's health concerns Perform EKG interpretation Determine when escalation to the Emergency Room is required Administer IVs (or willingness to learn) Requirements: Active Advance Practice Registered Nurse license in Florida Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience DOT Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days) Exp with IV administrations (or willingness to learn) Benefits: Employee Health Insurance (After 90 days) Medical Malpractice coverage paid 100% from Day 1 PTO and Sick Days CLE Reimbursement Licenses reimbursement Offer Colonial Life (similar to AFLAC) and we pay 100% forva secondary insurance that lowers the employees co-pays for visits For more information, contact: Manisha Palli
