Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler Location: El Segundo CA Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and moving materials within our warehouse or production facility. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production and shipping demands. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to lift and move materials, and have a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: Receive, unload, and store materials and products in designated warehouse locations. Prepare and move materials for production or shipment according to schedule. Ensure materials are labeled correctly and stored in appropriate locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and update system data for stock movements. Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damage to management. Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with inventory control and stock audits as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or logistics preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training can be provided). A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
