Electrical Superintendent

About the Role We are partnered with a well-established electrical contractor in the San Antonio area that is actively looking to bring on an Electrical Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial and mission-critical projects. This role will be responsible for leading field operations, coordinating crews and foremen, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Project Types Data centers / mission-critical facilities Large ground-up commercial construction Healthcare and hospital projects Education projects (K12 & higher education) Municipal and large commercial developments Responsibilities Lead and oversee day-to-day field operations on electrical construction projects Manage foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications Work closely with Project Managers to maintain project schedules and budgets Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company and jobsite safety programs Conduct daily site walks and track job progress Maintain productivity, quality control, and schedule adherence Coordinate inspections and interface with inspectors and general contractors Identify and resolve field issues before they impact project timelines Requirements 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent (or strong General Foreman ready to step up) Background in commercial electrical construction Experience managing large crews and complex projects Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical systems Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Experience with Procore or similar project management systems preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Benefits Company truck or vehicle allowance Gas card Full medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Performance-based bonus structure Relocation assistance available if needed Why This Opportunity Strong pipeline of high-profile projects across the San Antonio market Opportunity to run large, complex electrical scopes Work with a company known for delivering major commercial and mission-critical projects Clear path toward Senior Superintendent and leadership roles
