Job Description

Position: Front Desk Receptionist - Colton, CA Division: Administration Pay: $20 an hour Summary The Front Desk Receptionist works independently to greet and check in all visitors and provide front-office administrative support within a manufacturing environment. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Some overtime may be required. Business casual attire is required, along with a professional demeanor and the ability to work with diverse personalities. Reports to Office Manager PRIMARY FUNCTIONS - Maintain a clean, organized, and visitor-ready check-in area - Answer, screen, and forward calls using the Microsoft Teams phone system - Greet visitors, ensure proper sign-in, and direct them to the appropriate staff or office - Ensure reception desk coverage and main phone line availability during business hours - Conduct brief safety orientations for visitors as applicable - Manage office supply inventory, purchasing, and inventory spreadsheets - Coordinate service calls for office equipment - Sort and distribute incoming mail for administration and shop buildings - Prepare outgoing mail and shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.) - Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, data entry, and scanning - Assist the billing department with document collection and billing worksheets - Provide administrative support to other departments as approved by supervision Experience / skills - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Professional attitude, appearance, and strong customer service skills - Excellent communication and organizational abilities - Ability to independently perform clerical and office work - Proficient with multi-line phone systems, computers, copiers, and office equipment - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask - Team-oriented with the ability to work across multiple departments KPG123
