Production Supervisor

Akkodis is seeking a Production Supervisor for a 12+ Contract position with a client located in Bothell, WA Pay Range: $40/hr - $50/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Position Responsibilities The ideal candidate will ensure that manufacturing activities operate in a smooth and efficient manner through excellent planning, coordination, and supervision to meet site deliverables. In a fast-paced production environment, the supervisor is an integral member of the manufacturing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and enforcing policies, and procedures. Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Hold all team members fully accountable for their role in the final product in its quality and the efficiency with which it is produced. Conduct regular audits of productivity and quality to identify any shortcomings and maintain the high standard your team adheres to. Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to intercompany requests. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Education/Experience: Associates degree in technical, engineering OR a combination of higher education and a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a relevant field of manufacturing Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications Must be very knowledgeable in assembly sequences and methodologies for manual (hands-on) assembly systems.
