Security Officer

Security Officer-Overnight Shift Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Security team as Security Officer-Overnight Shift. The Security Officer is a vital member of our Security team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the employees and in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This department establishes, promotes and maintains the hotel's security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day. The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property. We are looking for individuals who are skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty. The Security Officer engages with a large number of guests, local law enforcement and other hotel personnel. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills are required. What you bring: At least 2 years of security detail experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. CPR and First-Aid certification. Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, and HotSOS preferred/is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Schedule and hours: This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. This is a day position.
