Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Food Processing Production Mechanic Location: Bayshore, NY Shift: 2nd Shift Pay: Up to $32 hour based on experience/interview The Food Processing Production Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and providing preventive maintenance on various equipment, machines, and facilities within a food production environment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventive maintenance on food processing machines, steam machines, and water machines. Utilize blueprints, schematics, and hand tools for efficient repairs. Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures during service and repair. Use personal protective equipment as required. Comply with rules and regulations set forth in the employee handbook, safety manual, and GMP booklet. Report equipment malfunction or breakdown to a supervisor if unable to correct. Essential Skills Experience with food processing and production equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Read Blueprints and Schematics Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bay Shore, NY.
