Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job DescriptionThe Industrial Press Mechanic role is critical to ensuring that production runs smoothly. With a wide range of tools at your disposal, you will be responsible for upgrading, maintaining, and installing equipment to ensure continuous operation and efficiency.Responsibilities Manufacture production parts and upgrade equipment modifications. Monitor and maintain proper parts inventory. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule with proper documentation. Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, or machinery. Cut and weld material to repair broken parts, fabricate/machine new parts, or assemble new equipment. Document repairs and maintenance performed. Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment. Read and interpret manufacturers' manuals to determine the correct installation or operation of machinery. Follow all plant and OSHA procedures, performing all duties safely and in accordance with all work and safety rules, and established work and industry practices. Essential Skills Maintenance technician expertise, particularly in mechanical systems. Extensive knowledge in pneumatics (95% focus). Troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems. Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Availability to work assigned shift schedule. Previous experience with machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe installation, chiller plants, and waste systems. Industrial maintenance experience in a high-speed plant production environment. Ability to weld, braze, and cut with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxygen/Act Torch. Experience using precision measuring equipment (scales, micrometers, and indicators). Troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics with the ability to read/understand schematics. Experience with installation of copper, black pipe, PVC, or groove lock piping. Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, squat, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, bend, reach, and occasionally sit. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working at heights and in small spaces. You will work in a climate-controlled facility that spans over 500,000 square feet. The facility is divided between Press and Finishing, with two technicians on each side per shift. Safety attire includes steel toes, full-length pants, and no hoodies.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78728.00 - $85000.00/yr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
