Permanent job opening Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner/physician assistant Must have at least two years post training experience Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No call No weekends Setting: Outpatient only Adults only FQHC / community health outpatient clinic setting Work for the Mobile Medicine Team Mobile Medicine Model: Provide care out of fully equipped medical vans serving locations throughout the Sacramento region including homeless shelters, community centers, and senior centers Vans include patient rooms and are staffed with medical assistants Work alongside physicians and other APPs Integrated services include primary care, behavioral health, and dental care Patient Volume & Workflow Expectations: 3 patients per hour model (20-minute appointment slots) Includes telehealth visits when appropriate Administrative time built into the end of the day Providers typically average approximately 2.2 patients per hour accounting for no-shows No double-booking EMR: Epic (experience highly preferred) Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible NP/PA Minimum two years post-training experience required FQHC or community health outpatient clinic experience preferred Comfortable practicing in a 3 patients per hour model Ability to complete charts within 72 hours required Confidence and proficiency managing in-basket responsibilities including patient messages, medication refills, and lab results Experience utilizing translation services is helpful (more than 48% of patients speak a language other than English) Must be COVID-19 vaccinated Organization Information: FQHC with multiple locations in Sacramento Competitive base salary Medical, dental, and vision insurance CME reimbursement Supportive, mission-driven team environment Lifestyle Information: Located on the east side of Sacramento Over 500,000 residents International airport access America's Farm-to-Fork Capital - farm-fresh restaurants, farmers markets, and local breweries RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
