Material Handler

Experienced Operator Wanted A local food processing plant is now hiring an experienced operator. Temp-to-hire position. Please note, this is a cold work environment. Pay Rate: $17.40/hr; Shift differential offered Schedule: Various shifts available, Monday-Friday; Over time as needed Job duties may include but not limited to the following: Operates a powered forklift to move, stack or lad materials throughout warehouse, shipping and receiving areas, and company buildings. May offload products from trucks and also keeps outside areas organized and clean. Follows all safety procedures in operating forklifts. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of forklifts. Other duties within the department as may be assigned. Requirements: Forklift license and 1-2 years forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift, carry and/or move 50 pounds or more. Frequently required to sit and stand. Occasionally required to walk, climb, reach, bend/twist, kneel/squat and crawl.
