CAD Drafter

Pay: $30/hr - $40/hr On-Site - 5 days a week - Linden, New Jersey Job Title: Autocad Design Drafter (P&ID) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled P&ID Design Drafter to join our Design Drafting Group. In this role, you will collaborate closely with onsite engineers to update existing P&ID drawings and design new work, ensuring effective communication and adherence to project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Update P&ID drawings using AutoCAD 2D based on engineering redlines and field walkdowns. Upload and manage P&ID drawings using Blue Cielo/Meridian. Work on both capital projects and maintenance work, submitting estimates for Electronic Work Requests (EWR). Prepare capital project packages including Issue for Approval (IFA), Issue for Construction (IFC), and As-Builts for project engineer review. Participate in field walkdowns and maintain familiarity with onsite Refining Engineering Practices (REPs) and relevant industry standards. Requirements: Ability to work onsite 40 hours per week during core business hours (M-F, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm) with flexibility to overflow work to an offsite location if necessary. Proficiency in AutoCAD and willingness to learn Blue Cielo/Meridian and SPI (electrical/instrumentation). Must obtain TWIC card prior to employment Standard drug test and background check
