Job Description

Millwork Puller The Millwork Puller will be responsible for understanding lumber and millwork codes and specifications, including the various species of lumber and the differences between MDF and PFJ. This role involves questioning any obvious errors on orders with the Millwork Lead and pulling and stacking orders safely on carts to prevent them from falling. The Millwork Puller will also be responsible for marking all orders correctly with the order number and job name, verifying that backorders are noted accurately, and ensuring that paperwork remains secure and intact. Additionally, the Millwork Puller must verify that orders are filled correctly, completely, and on time, maintain stock materials for order completion, and understand equipment for maintenance purposes. Responsibilities Question obvious errors on the order with Millwork Lead. Pull and stack orders on carts safely to prevent them from falling. Mark all orders correctly and clearly with the order number and job name. Verify that backorders are noted accurately and maintain secure paperwork. Ensure orders are filled correctly, completely, and on time. Stock materials for the completion of orders. Understand equipment for maintenance purposes and report any issues to the Millwork Lead immediately. Maintain a clean and debris-free shop area. Essential Skills Ability to read and understand tape measures and units of measurement. Proficiency in picking orders, packing, and inventory control. Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis. Effective communication skills in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of experience in production or construction. Experience in a warehouse environment. Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Experience in moving wide materials is an advantage. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
