Opportunity Details: The position is in the North Shore Anesthesia group which covers Covington ASC, Slidell East, and Slidell Main. Coverage includes basic Peds, OB, and Cardiac. Candidates must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology Physicians with experience or directly from training are welcomed to apply Must be comfortable working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists and capable of developing excellent medical staff relationships Requires a commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records (Epic) Our North Shore program is a component of the Department of Anesthesiology, with a fully accredited residency program as well as multiple fellowship programs. Ochsner's Department of Anesthesiology includes over 70 Anesthesiologists, 100 CRNA's, and >30 house staff, with an annual case volume of >52,000. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience. Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore is a full-service, 165-bed acute care hospital that includes a 24-hour emergency room and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on the North Shore. The hospital specializes in surgical and cardiac care, pediatric intensive care, physical therapy and rehabilitation and sleep disorders. As a suburb of New Orleans, the North Shore region, offers a family oriented community with the amenities of New Orleans just 30 minutes away.
