2nd shift - Experienced Machine Operator

Cnc Machinist Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: Mon-Thurs (10-hour days) QPS Employment Group is hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing team in Maryland Heights, MO! Cnc Machinist Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: - Operate CNC mills, lathes, and Hydromat machines with automatic indexing/feed. - Read blueprints and job orders to meet precise specifications. - Program machines using G-code and M-code. - Perform high-volume machining on metal bar stock. - Conduct quality checks with micrometers, calipers, and CMM tools. - Troubleshoot issues and maintain a safe, organized work area. - Collaborate with engineering, QC, and mentor junior machinists. Cnc Machinist Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience. - Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills. - Experience with high-volume metal cutting is highly preferred. - Technical/vocational training is a plus. - Must be self-motivated, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
