Litigation Paralegal Nationally and regionally respected civil litigation firm with deep expertise in insurance and business-related legal defense is seeking a litigation paralegal to support attorneys in complex civil litigation matters. Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive paralegal support in complex civil litigation, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, and mass tort matters Drafting, reviewing, and managing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence Coordinating and managing document production, including e-discovery platforms and document review Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness files, trial binders, and courtroom support Maintaining case calendars and ensuring compliance with court rules, deadlines, and filing requirements Filing documents in state and federal courts (including e-filing) Conducting legal and factual research as needed Communicating professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and experts Assisting attorneys with depositions, mediations, and arbitrations Supporting appellate matters, including record preparation and briefing assistance, when applicable Requirements include: Minimum of 5+ years' recent law firm litigation paralegal experience, with state court and federal litigation experience. Trial experience is preferred. Four-year bachelor's degree and/or two-year ABA approved paralegal certificate ideal but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Pro.
