What You'll Do as a Coating Machine Operator: Operate coating machines to produce high-quality coated ink ribbon products. Perform product changeovers, including roll exchanges, cleaning, threading, and filter changes. Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues to keep production running smoothly. Charge raw materials and solvents into mixing systems to create coating solutions. Verify product quality through visual and machine inspections and make machine adjustments as needed. May operate forklifts safely to transport materials and finished goods. Assist in training new team members and support productivity improvement initiatives. Skills and Experience: Work Experience The preferred candidate might: Have 1 year of experience operating machinery or chemical mixing/blending, as a plus Have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks Be experienced using measuring tools like micrometers, microscopes, and gauges Have basic computer skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations Need the physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
