Responsibilities: Lead the Engineering function and supporting systems to ensure quality is embedded in all processes and outcomes. Develop engineers with strong technical and application expertise capable of supporting customers, including periodic on-site engagement. Manage customer quality and performance concerns through a structured Corrective Action (CAR) process, utilizing data and reporting to deliver timely, effective, and permanent solutions with clear customer communication. Provide leadership to Health & Safety and Quality teams, maintaining robust, ISO compliant management systems that promote a safe, efficient, and high-performance work environment. Collaborate cross functionally with Sales and customers to understand industry needs related to engineering, product design, quality, and performance, strengthening alignment and responsiveness across teams. Support manufacturing by ensuring engineering prints, routers, and documentation provided to the shop floor are accurate, clear, and complete, enabling confident execution without rework or ambiguity. Work closely with shop teams and leadership to resolve internal engineering or quality issues. Lead team development through effective biweekly Level 10 (L10) meetings for Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams, ensuring meaningful goals ("rocks") are established and progress is actively tracked. Promote continuous learning by supporting initiatives such as Fast Academy, PIT Crews, and the R&D Lab, encouraging each Product Engineer to participate in 1-2 Fast Academy courses annually. Drive continuous improvement by scorecards, measurable objectives, and performance tracking while maintaining documentation of professional growth and accomplishments. Maintain 5S standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workplace that supports operational excellence. Required Qualifications/Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Engineering and Quality Systems 5-10 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment Minimum of 5 years (10 years preferred) of leadership and supervisory experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in gaging and metrology Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word) and ERP systems Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis and statistical methods Proficient in blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Background in Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies Salary Range: $24-$29/hr Ask for: Sunitha Job Id: 26100 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
