Advent Health Altamonte Labor and Delivery Unit is a premier destination for obstetrical care in Seminole County. We are the only Advent Health OB hospital in Seminole County and only hospital system with the support of a Level II NICU. + The Labor and Delivery Unit provides Level II Maternity Care for approximately 2,000+ births per year (150 babies per month). The unit consists of 6 OB Triage rooms, 10 labor rooms (including 1 Low Intervention Birthing suite), 3 OB ORs and 4 PACU beds. The adjacent units are a 10-bed Level II NICU (30 weeks and above) and a 21-bed newly renovated Mother Baby Unit. + AWHONN staffing ratios maintained in Labor and Delivery, MIU and NICU. + The multidisciplinary team is supported by Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, OB Hospitalists, OB Hospitalist Midwives, Anesthesia, and Respiratory Therapy 24/7.
