Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift, working four 10-hour days from 8 PM to 6:30 AM. This role involves working Fridays and some weekends, with shifts on Saturday and Sunday running from 8 AM to 8 PM. Candidates should expect to work over 60 hours a week, with overtime compensated at time and a half after 40 hours and double time after 50 hours. Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on plant equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, dust collectors, mixers, tanks, silos, valves, palitizers, and chillers. Conduct rolling belt conveyor repairs and lockout/tagout on 480v 3 phase systems. Repair pneumatic and hydraulic pumps, sensors, and HMIs. Troubleshoot and maintain facility electrical systems including PLCs, human machine interfaces, and lighting. Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure reliable operations of facility equipment like HVAC, air compressors, tow motors, oil heaters, and chillers. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and components. Perform reactive maintenance on broken down equipment. Essential Skills 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 3+ years with relevant certifications. Proficiency in pump and gearbox repairs. Experience in industrial electrical repairs, specifically 480v/277v systems. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with a focus on pneumatics. Skill in conveyor repairs and mechanical repairs, including chains, sprockets, motors, bearings, and pumps. Additional Skills & Qualifications HVAC troubleshooting. Generator repairs. The building is clean and well-maintained, with systems in place to ensure a spotless floor. While respirators are not required, they are available for those who prefer them. The maintenance team operates locally in Warrensville Heights. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrensville Heights, OH.
