Quality Control Inspector

Miller Brother Staffing in York, PA has the immediate need of experienced Quality Control Inspectors on 2nd Shift. JOB TITLE - Quality Control Inspector PAY RANGE - $20.90/hour, BOE. SHIFT: 2 nd Shift: 330PM - 12AM All shifts are typically Monday thru Friday. May be required to come in early or stay later than regularly scheduled shift, or come in on days off. 3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS CLIENT NEEDS THIS PERSON TO HAVE - Mechanical aptitude Timeliness/ Dependability Willingness to learn JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES: Experience and supporting low to mid volume shop floor scheduling and production needs. This role supports a high-speed thin metal progressive metal stamping facility. Receives, carries-out, and assigns duties as required. JOB DESCRIPTION: In-process visual and dimensional inspection of product and recording the inspection results. Using measurement tools such as optical comparators, micrometers and calipers, operating an OGP is a plus. Reading blue prints with geometric tolerances. Occasional operating of high-speed metal stamping dies. Strong communication skills with willingness to be a team player Communicate with customer service on quality issues impacting order status, and support any quality issue resolution requirements Maintain ERP (Epicor) systems data entry to support shop floor quality Participate in local and company level load planning reviews, including MRB Support contract reviews with customers for startup and long term production plans. Communicate required information to fellow colleagues and Managers Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned Must be available for scheduled work: normal workday of 8 hours, 5 days a week or more as necessary, night shift and weekend work are possible.
