We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for our 1st shift to support our team in Chester, CT. The Warehouse Associate provides superior customer value by accurately shipping and receiving product. Essential Functions: Key Responsibilities - Shipping: Pull product from the warehouse per delivery notes for customer orders Package product on skids or in boxes to be shipped Computer data entry Key Responsibilities Receiving: Verify accurate receipts per vendor packing slips Stock received product in warehouse Computer data entry Working Hours: First Shift - Monday through Friday (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) Overtime hours as required by Supervisor Required Work Experience: 1 years shipping & receiving, or similar warehouse experience Required Competencies: Basic computer skills Able to read English Daily physical lifting up to 45 lbs., unassisted Operate a Forklift, maintain re-certification as required Observe all safety requirements Self-motivated and able to complete task assignments Able to work with minimal supervision in a lean work environment Excellent organization skills Maintain a neat and clean work environment Maintain a sense of teamwork with co-workers Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Payment frequency: Paid weekly Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Chester, CT 06412 (Required) Work Location: In person Salary Range: The Pay Range for this position is between $20-22 per hour.
