Procurement Coordinator We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support large-scale capital construction projects within a highly regulated environment. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing procurement activities, commercial controls, and procure-to-pay execution across the full project lifecycle. The Senior Procurement Coordinator will collaborate closely with project controls, finance, construction, and sourcing teams to ensure procurement strategies, contracts, and financial commitments align with approved budgets, schedules, and governance requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate and support project procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with cost, schedule, and risk objectives. Manage and maintain the procure-to-pay (P2P) structure, including coding, approvals, workflows, and system setup. Support pre-award and post-award contract administration, ensuring commercial terms align with project controls and funding requirements. Track procurement commitments, purchase orders, contracts, change orders, and invoices to ensure accurate cost and cash flow reporting. Partner with procurement, legal, and project teams to support bid evaluations, award recommendations, and commercial documentation. Support project controls services including capital planning, project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial close-out. Assist with the preparation of cash flow forecasts, accruals, and funding requests. Consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, accurate funding and approval documentation. Support governance requirements through timely, fact-based reporting and documentation. Assist with front-end planning (FEP) efforts to ensure procurement and commercial readiness prior to project funding. Review procurement-related schedule activities to identify risks and potential impacts to project delivery. Identify and track commercial, cost, and procurement risks, supporting the development of mitigation strategies. Support the setup and effective use of ERP, procurement, and project information systems. Ensure accurate data flow between procurement, finance, and project controls systems. Assist in the operation and continuous improvement of construction technology and reporting tools. Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives across procurement and project controls functions. Essential Skills Strong experience in procurement coordination, commercial management, and procure-to-pay processes within capital construction projects. Working knowledge of contract administration (pre- and post-award). Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Advanced skills in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred. Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Experience with project information management systems (e.g., Procore, ACC Build). Understanding of construction delivery methods, commercial terms, and cost structures. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and procurement documentation. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Business, Supply Chain, or related field. 610+ years of experience in procurement, commercial coordination, project controls, or cost management within capital construction or EPC environments. Preferred certifications: CCE, CPE, MRICS, Six Sigma, or similar. Work Environment The role is based on-site in Hillsboro within a manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Oswego, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.
