You take pride in a flawless finish, a clean booth, and a job done right the first time. At GTC, your eye for detail and skill with a spray gun directly impact the quality our customers count on. Apply customer-specified coatings to exact film thickness, gloss, and appearance standards - every time Determine the best application method for each job based on specs and technical data Prep surfaces like a pro - finishing, filling, sealing, color mixing, and masking Disassemble components before painting and reassemble them after - with precision Keep the paint kitchen, booth, equipment, and storage area clean, organized, and 6S-ready Proactively detect and eliminate foreign objects before they can contaminate the coating process Report booth and equipment issues before they become problems Work safely and in full compliance with environmental and safety requirements What You Bring 2+ years as an industrial or automotive painter with hands-on expertise in surface prep, mixing, and coating application Proficiency with HVLP, siphon feed, gravity feed, and pressure feed spray equipment Ability to read and accurately mix paint and coating formulas Strong knowledge of surface prep techniques: finishing, fillers, sealing, masking, and color matching Ability to read blueprints, specs, and travelers Strong color differentiation and visual acuity Comfortable wearing respiratory equipment while painting and prepping surfaces High school diploma or GED required Why GTC?
