UCP Seguin is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of all agency buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. This full-time, non-exempt role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys a wide variety of maintenance responsibilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across agency homes and office facilities, ensuring systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC remain in excellent working conditions. Key responsibilities include completing routine inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, maintaining lighting and HVAC systems, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and keeping accurate records of all work performed. You will also support facility upgrades, operate power tools safely, ensure OSHA compliance, and represent the agency during inspections or contractor visits. The role includes transporting agency vehicles for service and performing custodial duties as needed.
