Coverage dates include:December 15 December 21 (credentialed providers only)December 29 January 4 (credentialed providers only)January 12 January 18January 26 February 1February 9 February 15February 23 March 1March 9 March 15March 23 March 29April 6 April 12April 20 April 26Position Overview:A high-acuity medical center in Greenville, NC is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide night coverage for their neurosurgery service line. This role is fully inpatient and supports a busy Level 1 trauma environment with a well-established neurosurgical team.Key Responsibilities:Manage inpatient neurosurgery patients overnightPerform admissions and discharges (rare at night, but possible)Conduct inpatient consultationsProvide OR first assist support if desired (optional)Collaborate closely with attending neurosurgeons and fellow APPsMaintain clear and timely documentation within the EMRPractice Environment:Level 1 Trauma CenterInpatient-only roleRobust team: 9 Neurosurgeons & 9 APPs24/7 inpatient neurosurgery coverage and supportRequirements:Board Certification as NPNeurosurgery or high-acuity inpatient experience strongly preferredMust hold BLS and ACLS (AHA required)Ability to work a consistent 7-night block scheduleWillingness to complete orientation the day before first shift
