Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,540 - $5,840 Location: Dunkirk, NY 14048 (Western New York) - anesthesia jobs in NY Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks (potential for extension) Start Date: ASAP ongoing Shift: 8-hour day shifts with required beeper call after shift Hours per Week: 32 hours/week On Call: Weeknight and weekend pager call required MD Supervision: Yes (1:4 MD to CRNA ratio) Charting System: iPro (electronic charting) Job Requirements / Qualifications Current registered professional nurse license Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA certification) Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience; locum tenens CRNA experience preferred Experience with general anesthesia and orthopedic anesthesia cases preferred Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with supervising MDs and OR staff Responsibilities Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify informed patient consent Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and surgical teams Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general and orthopedic cases Monitor patients' physiologic status and provide timely clinical interventions Coordinate care in a 4-room anesthesia department using iPro electronic charting Communicate effectively with surgeons, operating room staff, and supervising anesthesiologists Why Dunkirk?
