CRNA Job Details MD Supervision: Yes - 5:1 CRNA to MD ratio Charting: Paper records (facility policy) Orientation: Arrive one week prior for employee health, badge, site and OR orientation Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) Current registered professional nurse license; willingness to obtain North Carolina state license if not already held Graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program Current AANA certification or recertification (Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists) Strong communication skills and ability to function in a collaborative surgical / perioperative team Primary Responsibilities Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and perioperative planning for ambulatory surgery patients Obtain and verify informed consent; discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients Provide anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence across a broad case mix including pediatric ENT and general cases Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and perform clinical interventions as needed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and efficient ASC workflow Document clinical care accurately in paper records following facility policies Location & Community Fayetteville, North Carolina offers a welcoming community with parks, cultural attractions, and convenient amenities.
