This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is based in Exeter, NH 03833, a charming New England town with easy access to scenic outdoor activities. The assignment features a supportive MD-CRNA supervision model and exposure to General, Orthopedics, Pediatrics and OB cases. Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Location: Exeter, NH 03833 (Exeter, New Hampshire; New England anesthesia jobs) Estimated Weekly Pay (USD): $6,340 - $6,680 Start Date: January 8, 2026 End Date: December 31, 2026 Duration: 51 weeks Openings: 10 CRNA openings Schedule: 5 shifts per week; consistent weekday coverage Shift Length: 16-hour days (site may also use 8-hour or 10-hour shifts; late start 8:30 AM on the 2nd & 3rd Thursday) Hours per Week: 32 Call: Weekend beeper call required; call back rate Case Mix / Case Types: General surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics (OB) Charting System: Meditech and paper workflows Anesthesia Rooms / ORs: 9 operating rooms Supervision Model: MD supervision; CRNA:MD ratio approximately 3:1 (anesthesiologists also perform cases) Privileging: Expedited privileging; credentialing timeline up to 90 days Qualifications / Job Requirements Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program Certified (or recertified) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) - AANA credentialing recognized Licensure: Active New Hampshire CRNA/RN license preferred or willingness to obtain New Hampshire licensure (candidates requiring licensure are considered) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA (perioperative/OR experience preferred) Ability to work full scheduled shifts and participate in weekend beeper call rotation Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and ability to collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative teams Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patient readiness for anesthesia in the perioperative setting Obtain and verify informed consent, review medical history, labs, and diagnostics prior to anesthesia Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients, families, and surgical teams Provide safe induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for General, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and OB cases Continuously monitor patient physiological status in the OR and respond promptly to changes Perform clinical interventions and advanced airway management as required to support patient safety and outcomes Document anesthesia care accurately using Meditech/paper workflows and adhere to site timekeeping procedures Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams under the MD supervision model What We Offer Competitive locum tenens CRNA pay and clear weekly estimates Expedited privileging and credentialing support for New Hampshire (NH) licensure Supportive anesthesia team and organized OR environment Diverse case mix for continued professional development (adult, pediatric, OB, ortho) Apply now to explore this locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Exeter, NH 03833.
