Assembly operator

Assembly Operator Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for a production facility in Holly, MI for an Assembly Operator performing production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals. Responsibilities: Ensures product/process quality and efficiency through inspection and continuous improvement activities. Maintains procedures to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area. Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine product changeover setups. Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation. Participates in annual planning process, understanding plant objectives and identifying improvements to help attain goals. Performs other duties as necessary in support of team objectives. Qualifications: High school diploma; or equivalent. Preferred 1+ year(s) experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Must be able to interact effectively with other team members. Demonstrated ability to operate within production and quality standards; including being able to operate/utilize all job-related equipment. Equipment may include hand cart, hand tools, production machinery and other related equipment and tools. Demonstrated good attendance, safety, and performance record. Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees. Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise. Pay: $17/hour; 2nd and 3rd shift receive an additional $0.60/hr shift premium. Shifts: 1st Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm 7:00am-3:00pm 2nd Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm 3:00pm-11:00pm 3rd Thursday Night-Friday Morning 10:30pm-6:30am 11:00pm-7:00am Weekends as needed for all shifts.
