Accountant

Project Accountant We’re seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support full‑cycle subcontract and job cost accounting across multiple construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate job costing, timely financial reporting, and strong collaboration with Project Managers to keep projects running smoothly. What You’ll Do Process subcontractor pay applications, vendor invoices, and credit card purchases Maintain accurate job cost records and perform routine reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements, over/under‑billing schedules, and tax filings Manage cash balances, payments, and bank reconciliations Partner closely with Project Managers to review job costs and support forecasting Assist with audits, financial draws, and required vendor documentation What You Bring Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent practical experience) 3+ years of accounting experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred Strong Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems Exposure to Yardi and Procore highly preferred Excellent attention to detail with strong problem‑solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Perks & Benefits Collaborative, supportive culture with a great manager Full healthcare benefits 3 weeks PTO plus 12 paid holidays Hybrid work schedule after onboarding and training Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on construction accountant who enjoys working closely with project teams and wants long‑term growth in a stable, well‑managed environment.
