INTERNAL POSTING Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for responding to and correcting customer quality issues Perform dimensional and visual inspections, both in process and end item Measure and report various aspects of quality performance to management Perform receiving, shipping and packaging inspections Maintain certifications in preservation Hold a Level II visual inspection credential Coordinate with Q/A on all quality issues and audits Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or a related academic field or AA/AS plus 2 yrs directly related experience or 6 yrs directly related experience Physical Demands: While performing these job duties, the employee is routinely required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Work Environment: This position is performed in a traditional office and manufacturing environment, with some local travel between facilities.
