About the Role: Line Cook Assist the chef with training a small group of individuals to become food service workers. Prepare and cook all menu items as required while complying with Arc Broward policies on quality, quantity, sanitation, and portion control. Help maintain the kitchen and food storage areas in an efficient, clean, and organized manner. Assist in catering functions in preparation, setup, and delivery. In the chef's absence ability to prepare meals while supervising trainees and other related responsibilities. High School diploma or Equivalent (can be substituted for experience) Minimum of one to three years' work experience in the food service industry Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work in a team. Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency is required. Ability to walk short distances.
