Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Staten Island Full or Part Time School Position!Setting: Preschool & School-Age Program (Ages 3-12) Overview We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive, New York State-approved educational program serving preschool and school-age students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for an SLP passionate about helping young learners build communication, language, and social-emotional skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary school environment. Responsibilities • Provide speech and language therapy to students ages 3-12. • Support expressive/receptive language development and communication goals. • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, BCBA, and clinical staff. • Participate in evaluations, progress monitoring, and team meetings. • Utilize evidence-based strategies, including PECS and other communication supports. • Contribute to a nurturing, high-support educational environment. Requirements • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • NYS License as Speech-Language Pathologist. • TSSLD Certification. • Fluent in Spanish. • Experience with preschool and/or school-age students preferred. • Comfort working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
