Quick Job Snapshot Position: Travel Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) / Infusion Nurse / Oncology RN Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,270 - $2,390 Location: Modesto, CA (95355) - Central Valley, California nursing job Setting: Outpatient Infusion Center (oncology infusion & infusion therapy) Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 28, 2026 - July 28, 2026) Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (08:00 - 18:30) • 40 hours/week Weekend Requirement: 4-8 weekend shifts per schedule month; holidays as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years recent infusion nursing experience (infusion RN / chemotherapy RN / oncology RN) Active California RN license required at time of submission BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider certificate Travel RN experience required (travel nursing jobs experience) Epic charting experience preferred (electronic medical record experience) Ability to provide accurate 7-year work history verification Two professional references obtained within the last year Key Responsibilities Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care in a busy outpatient infusion center (infusion therapy, oncology infusion) Administer oncology and non-oncology treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other IV infusions Perform port and PICC line management, peripheral IV placement (including ultrasound guidance), and therapeutic phlebotomy Monitor and manage infusion reactions, side effects, and abnormal lab values; escalate per policy Provide patient and family education, psychosocial support, and safe transitions of care Develop individualized care plans that account for psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, IV teams, and interpretation services to ensure quality patient outcomes Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards (ONS/ONCC), and radiation safety precautions to promote optimal patient experience Why This Travel Nursing Job?
