Deliver speech therapy interventions tailored to improve communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to devise comprehensive care strategies. Educate patients and family members to ensure progress continues outside of therapy sessions. Support the occasional need for inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a seamless treatment experience. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation as per state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development by staying enlightened on innovations in the field through continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the appropriate governmental agency. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not ASHA-certified yet. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is advantageous. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Skills Knowledge in evidence-based treatments for various age groups, possessing profound insight into both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Adept at modifying therapeutic techniques to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic circumstances. Demonstrated clinical acumen and decision-making skills.
