Neuro RN - Inpatient Neurology (Travel Nurse) - Rockford, IL Neuro RN Travel Nurse opportunity in Rockford, IL (61108) - 13-week inpatient neurology assignment for a Registered Nurse with stroke and interventional neurology experience. Active Illinois RN license required; travel nurses with 1+ year neurology or inpatient stroke experience are encouraged to apply. Job Details Location: Rockford, IL 61108 (Winnebago County, Northern Illinois) Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (Travel RN) Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 - August 3, 2026) Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Schedule: Monday-Friday, no call required Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,490-$5,780 Requirements / Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in neurology, stroke care, or related inpatient setting Strong background in stroke protocols, acute stroke/ED evaluations, and general neurology Experience supporting interventional neurology/endovascular procedures preferred Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary care Key Responsibilities Support Interventional Neurology physicians in inpatient and procedural (endovascular) settings Round on neurology inpatients and perform new patient consults for inpatient neurology Manage stroke alerts and respond to acute ED and transfer evaluations following stroke protocols Assist with pre- and post-operative management of endovascular cases and procedural care Provide intermittent clinic in-basket management and coordinate follow-up as needed Collaborate with attending neurologists, ED staff, nursing teams, and other multidisciplinary caregivers to optimize patient outcomes Why Join Our Team Work in a supportive, innovative neurology program focused on high-quality stroke and neurovascular care Opportunity for professional growth as a travel nurse in interventional neurology Enjoy life in Rockford - parks, arts, and a welcoming community in Northern Illinois Ready to advance your career as a Neuro RN Travel Nurse in Illinois?
