Pay: $44.00 per hour Job description: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility Location: Leavittsburg, OH Pay Rate: $42.00/hour Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Shift: 13-hour shifts (schedule assigned on Day 1) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at an all-male correctional facility in Leavittsburg, OH. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent hours and the potential for long-term placement. This is not a PRN role —candidates must be open to a set schedule and flexible to accommodate facility needs. Schedule Requirements Candidates must be available for any of the following schedules (assigned upon start and subject to change based on operational needs): Sunday, Thursday, Friday: 6:10 AM – 7:30 PM Wednesday, Friday, Sunday: 6:10 AM – 7:30 PM Flexibility is required as schedules and days may vary. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to an adult male inmate population Conduct patient assessments, triage, and administer medications Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Collaborate with medical providers and correctional staff Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and healthcare standards Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Ohio) BLS/CPR certification (required) Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Flexibility with schedule and shift changes Why Join Us?
