Join a team where safety and reliability are rewarded with full benefits and a consistent schedule. salary: $45,760 - $52,000 per year shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Responsibilities • Transport Goods: Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, to deliver products to designated locations. • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. • Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and minimizing downtime. • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit. • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts, in compliance with federal regulations. • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any concerns or delays. • Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours-of-service requirements, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. • During slow periods for delivery, the driver will support operations on plant floor.
