Job Description Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a dynamic school environment located in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time, on-site position will serve multiple elementary schools, working with a caseload of 50-55 students across early childhood age groups, ensuring development and progress in communication skills. Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to assess and address student needs.Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and intervention strategies.Adhere to all licensing, district policies, and safety protocols. Qualifications and Experience:Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license is required.Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is preferred.Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students effectively.Fingerprinting clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse or readiness to complete required background checks.Effective communication and teamwork skills. Location and Schedule:On-site work exclusively at two schools in Fort Myers: Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days per week) and Mirror Lakes Elementary (1 day per week).Full-time hours up to 37.5 per week.Contract duration: Immediate start with assignment through June 1, 2026.
