American Traveler is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Humansville, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with active CCC-SLP and Missouri licensure for a Long Term Care rehabilitation role with flexible weekday scheduling. Details Position is in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting with a focus on rehabilitation Serves adult and geriatric patient populations with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts; start time must be between 6AM and 10AM No weekend work required unless making up hours for a weekday holiday No on-call responsibilities Utilizes electronic documentation for patient records and regulatory compliance Requirements Active CCC-SLP certification required Missouri SLP license required (License required if applicable) At least 1 year of SLP experience required, preferably in a LTC or SNF setting Recent new grads accepted if Level II experience, not just observation One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions Document all care in accordance with regulatory standards and company policy Communicate patient progress and treatment plans with the interdisciplinary care team Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and adjust plans based on outcomes Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers on speech disorders Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or student SLPs as needed Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics in professional practice Participation in required facility and company meetings, trainings, and conferences No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered American Traveler Job ID #P-670217.
