This contract position offers an opportunity for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within schools located in the Los Angeles area. The engagement runs from August 12, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour days. Assignments may vary between single-site and itinerant roles, providing flexibility and diverse professional experiences. Key Responsibilities: Serve caseloads of approximately 50-60 students, covering a range of age groups within the K-12 school setting. Deliver speech-language pathology services in accordance with individualized education plans and school district requirements. Participate in bi-weekly training cohorts facilitated by the school district, with start dates aligned to either the beginning or middle of the month. Utilize assessment materials, with reimbursement available up to $2,500 for required tools. Qualifications and Experience: Hold an active California Speech-Language Pathologist license and an SLP teaching credential. Possess a master's degree in speech-language pathology. Candidates with 0-10+ years of school-based experience are encouraged to apply; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are considered if supervision arrangements can be secured. Commitment to working on-site within the Los Angeles Unified School District. No SLPA candidates will be considered for this position.
