As aDevOps Engineer– Level 3 or 4, this role can sit in either ourDulles, VA or El Segundo, this role, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.This work will primarily be performed in a SCIF environment.This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Job Responsibilities In this role you will: Automate cloud native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructureWork with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technologyWork within the OpenStack cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructureEnsure monitoring and health of the resources deployed via Nagios or other enterprise management solutionsDocument procedures used during deployment cyclesExperience with operational monitoring toolsWork with the fellow DevOps team and play a mentoring role to cross-train and grow technical talent across DevOps team and assist in troubleshooting tasksImplement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that adheres to industry best practices, terraformThis work will primarily be performed in a SCIF environment.This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.Basic Qualifications (must have/required to be considered): This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 (Principal), or a level 4 (Sr Principal), depending on the candidate’s experience as laid out in the basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview assessment. Northrop Grumman Total Rewards#LI-VP1Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
