Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel Endoscopy RN / GI Lab RN Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse) Location: Westerville, OH 43081 (Columbus, Ohio area) Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280-$2,400/week Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: July 6, 2026 Contract Duration: 91 days Hours per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift: Days (06:30 AM - 03:00 PM) Shift Duration: 8-hour days Weekend Requirement: No weekend shifts Patient Population: Adults Patient Ratio: 1:2 Unit Highlights: 4 procedure rooms; elective outpatient endoscopy Endoscopy RN Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years of Endoscopy RN / GI Lab RN experience (outpatient or hospital-based endoscopy) Charge Experience: Previous charge nurse experience required License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or Ohio) in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS and ACLS Charting: Epic experience required Clinical Skills: Circulate; bronchoscopy support; colonoscopy and EGD workflow; specimen handling/labeling; administering/monitoring conscious (moderate) sedation under physician direction when applicable; interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Education: Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program References: Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leader; second may be a Charge RN; no coworker-only references) Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). COVID-19 vaccine not required. Travel Readiness: Ability to complete time-sensitive onboarding requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting, promptly after booking Key Responsibilities (Outpatient Endoscopy / GI Lab) Circulate in the procedure room and collaborate with physicians and anesthesia to deliver safe, efficient patient care Support elective diagnostic and screening procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, interventional upper endoscopies, and EndoFLIP Provide sedation support based on case needs-working with anesthesia or administering/monitoring conscious sedation under physician direction per policy Document accurately in Epic, including procedural events, assessments, vitals, and sedation/anesthesia monitoring as applicable Collect, label, and coordinate specimens according to policy and regulatory standards Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including dysrhythmias and sedation-related complications Maintain infection prevention practices and support efficient room turnover to keep cases moving smoothly Provide charge-level support as needed to help coordinate workflow, communication, and patient throughput Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity for an Endoscopy RN in Westerville, OH-a weekday, day-shift outpatient GI lab contract near Columbus.
