Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working in elementary schools, specifically with students in Grades K-5. This contract position is based in Apex, NC, and offers the chance to work across various K-12 settings. There are multiple openings available, including potential Extended School Year (ESY) assignments. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs. Collaborating with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals. Monitoring progress and documenting treatment outcomes. Providing support for students during ESY sessions when applicable. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience serving elementary school-aged children, preferably K-5. Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language interventions. Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
